Who is MOTS-c Direct for?
You can see the people or animals tested, the result, and what remains unproved for your health.
What can this site tell you?
The first MOTS-c team wanted to trace how sugar becomes fuel. That finding led to more tests with mice, cells, and human blood. MOTS-c Direct explains those papers and the 16-amino-acid peptide they studied. No clinic or doctor runs this site. It doesn’t give medical advice or make, ship, or sell products. You get the study findings and links to their papers.
The first paper looked at sugar use and weight in mice, while later work tested exercise and cells under strain. A 2024 paper found that MOTS-c joined a working protein inside mouse muscle. Most human studies measured the MOTS-c people already make. You can see which findings are firm and which questions remain open.
What does the word “Direct” mean here?
“Direct” means each page tells you who was tested and what happened. The name doesn’t mean that you can receive care here. MOTS-c Direct doesn’t offer treatment, visits, prescriptions, drugs, or pharmacy service.
Each finding also comes with its limit. A mouse result remains a mouse result. Two blood findings that occur together don’t prove a shot would help you. That difference can guide how much trust you place in a claim.
How can you check what a page says?
Numbered notes lead to the cited MOTS-c studies and references. The source list includes medical journals and FDA records. Each account names whether the test used people, animals, or cells. Animal amounts aren’t turned into human doses.
Each kind of study answers a different question. A mouse exercise test or one animal dose can point to work worth doing. A 2024 cell study can show what changed inside a cell. Two human blood findings may occur together without one causing the other. None replaces a trial that gives MOTS-c to people.
If a paper seems to be described wrongly, use the MOTS-c questions page or the contact page. Name the study and the part that needs another look. That gives the editor a clear source to check.
